Hey friends!

Welcome to another edition of The Report. This week’s newsletter is all about how to build a website, why you need a website and some easy tools that you can use to get started.

Today, almost every single person and/or thing has a website of some sort. This is highly important in helping people discover you and your skills in a vast sea of information. If you make it easier to be discoverable, then chances are, it will lead to some amazing things both personally and professionally.

Framer’s website

A while back, creating a website required a specific kind of technical knowledge that was not everyone’s cup of tea. Today, with the introduction of no-code tools that are storming the market, creating a website is extremely easy. So, in order of ease of use, here are some website builders that you can use (with specific functions) to help you go from barely visible to hard-to-miss.

1. Carrd

Carrd is a simple, easy and responsive one-page website that is ideal for students, professionals, freelancers and agencies alike. Card is totally free to use and offers a unique set of templates that is useful for a range of users.

2. Squarespace or Wix

Squarespace and Wix are full-featured website builders that appeal to both website developers and no-code lovers alike. The best part about both of these tools is that you can customize the website as much as you’d like. Squarespace and Wix both have a drag and drop ability to help you design your ideal website, with the option to customize it to suit your unique needs. Both these tools also offer a unique set of templates that can elevate your website’s appearance and improve your SEO ranking as well.

3. Typedream

Typedream is yet another amazing tool that has a Notion-like interface to help you create your dream website. If you’re already a Notion user, then this is the way to go! Typedream also uses slash commands (much like Notion) for inserting elements, text, graphics and more. Typedream can also help you take advantage of Web3 technology and help sell NFTs as well.

4. Framer

Framer is an advanced tool that is ideal for anyone with a bit of web development background. With Framer, you can create beautiful, fluid sites with custom animations that work well across a variety of devices. Framer also provides a sea of templates to choose from so that you can pick the one that suits your personal or professional needs. If you’re a web-development agency, then Framer also offers collaboration tools to help you deliver only the best to your clients.
