🎯 Goal Planning with Timestripe
The tool to plan your entire life
Hey friends!
Welcome to another edition of The Report. In this week’s newsletter, I’m going to talk about planning your goals for the long-term using a unique tool called Timestripe. Timestripe is a planning tool that puts your life into perspective by showing you exactly how much time you have left to achieve your dreams and your goals.
Timestripe also allows you to apply the principles of time-blocking in your “Days” view as well so that you don’t just plan for your goals but actively make time for them as well. This is a must-have feature for anyone that wants to act on their goals on time.
Tip: Each to-do also comes with a text editor so you can add your more thoughts and context to your tasks.
Another feature that Timestripe provides is using Climbs in your long-term planning so that you can build good habits, beat bad habits, and overcome your hurdles. Climbs are sets of tasks designed by the Timestripe team that populate your calendar over time to help you achieve your goals. Timestripe also gives you the ability to create your own Climbs that are tailored to your specific needs. Some of my favorite Climbs include the following:
Timestripe also gives you the ability to create “Boards” to manage specific sets of tasks (ex: tasks just for your business goals, tasks for your traveling plans and tasks for your home renovation project). Here’s an example of how this can be used:
This unique planner also gives you the motivation you need to make the most of your life through their “Overview” page which looks a little bit like this. Based on your birthday, you can see how many years you have left and what other famous creators, philosophers, artists and personalities have accomplished at the same age. You can glimpse into the future and the past as well and uncover quirky insights about how much you could have saved, how many books you could have read, and more. Personally, the Overview page is a new source of inspiration for me as it drives me to constantly reorient my goals and plans to make the best of what I have.
Timestripe has significantly impacted my planning routine as I am now more cautious about my future and my goals. I would highly recommend Timestripe to anyone who feels a little lost as it can easily help you get back on track. Timestripe can be used on the web or an iOS device.
